During her studies of physics at the University of Göttingen (B.Sc., 2017), supported by the German Scholarship Foundation, and at the University of Durham in the United Kingdom (M.Sc., 2019) Karen Stroh gathered wide hands-on experience particularly in the area of solid state and materials physics. Her Master’s thesis dealt with nanocrystal-based thin film photovoltaics. As a doctoral researcher (Dr. rer. nat., 2023) she investigated light-induced phase transitions such as optically enhanced ferromagnetism in perovskite thin films by means of time-resolved laser spectroscopy.

Since 2023 Karen Stroh supports the law firm as patent attorney candidate.
